M-46 Patton tank 1/48th scale by Atlantis

Those things on the bustle are for spare barrels of the .50cal. At least that's what they were for the Korean Sherman.
All this hard work is going to pay off, press on Gary! :soldier

Not for a while yet. One of the head lights went missing, so I had to make one and then make the guards for them. Next is the guard for the siren on the rt. fender. Then I need to find a replacement for the 50 cal. gun from my spares stash. Gary S.

Sometimes parts disappear right before your eyes. There are times when I spend more time looking for a small part than modeling.
Now on to the model at hand. Finished the light and siren guards and installed the front fender braces. The rear braces are molded on and I'm just going to leave them that way. I have to draw the line sometime as to how much to invest in detailing. Gary S.

Made the exhaust heat shields and installed them without too much trouble. Also in the process of making a part that goes on the turret behind the gun mantle out of sprue and the turret hatches are installed with some grab handles on the rest corners. Gary S.
