Lulubelle

:hmmm Datz really lookin' good Bob!! (y) I'd probably go with the brass color for the extinguisher. I've seen Yellow and Green O2 bottles in wwII U.S. aircraft.

No definitive Google or any for that matter, colors. Thinking red was not really a wartime option, but that's me. Pick one and let some snob prove you wrong, we still have your back. :drinks

Not that I would be an authority but that's pretty much what I was thinking.

I noticed when the Air Force changed their fire extinguisher from CBM to Halon it went from red to the puke green overnight .

The CO2 one were red also....

Maybe of some help. Colours as Jeff has posted.

Thanks James, yep, that's red.

I have not had time to get to the garage this week, hate it, motivated to do something just can't find the time.

So I really thought I had all my stuff together for this. I know I had some generic US Army Archer transfers for the instrument panel but I can't find them. Now I don't see them on the Brothers of Sprue, still searching...

Opps, found them at Archer. :facepalm

Does the Lee have a simular IP as the Sherman?

Nope, might have the same gauges but they are laid out differently.

I got two sets of those I linked so I can fill in best guesstimate.

That picture brings up another question, is that some sort of insulation, padding on the inside of the forward armor?

Looks like it. And on the ceiling too.

:hmmm

Small bit of wisdom ( from trial and error )...

As I start collecting stuff for a build I try to store it in the kit box. Keeps me from searching a lot latter on. Just saying

I also do the same thing, though recently I picked up a kit with a bunch of AM and the AM wouldn't fit cause the box was crammed with kit. Ended up going back in the shipping box which was quite full.

Keep in mind that's a film set, even if it's inside a real tank, it's still a set.

That might be real (US armor is not my thing), but it might also just be to facilitate production. Lights and sound bounce horribly when trying to film, a glossy white metal surface would be a nightmare to capture.
