M3 Lee

Well I'm online with work but waiting on 5 different teams to finish trying to break what I just got working, (aka testing). I started looking over this thread for the Carolina Lee, found this photo archive a the SC Digital Library.

Really interesting scene here.
you got a duce and a half going over a temp bridge rigged up next to a more permanent bridge. But look to the right of the temp bridge. There's a Lee sunk in the bank, tarped over to protect it some but also notice the roundel.

Just how many Lees sunk in SC during these maneuvers?

An infamous "Hold my beer." moment.

The roundel could be a reverse colour style, red background circle, white star and blue centre circle, used by some units. The star tip was supposed to point up on vertical surfaces and forward on horizontal surfaces. Sloped surfaces seem to confuse the army at times.

Cheers,
