Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

I hear you @paddy ,the new motherboard doesn't have the security device that Win 11 requires (though it has a plug in for it). I am able to use my current 32 gigs of memory, and I went ahead and got an i9 processor. Yeah, we will see just how well things fire up when I get it assembled. Bought a decent power supply tester from Thermaltake and the power supply is almost perfectly spot on, so that isn't going to be an issue. Tonight I am going to get started on assembly. Shouldn't be too bad as I have dealt with this case and the setup before.

A couple of items came in. The third version of the Garford- Putilove armoured car, this time Freikorps and a 1/35 Border Models Nakajima B5N2 Kate with the deck and island of the Akagi. BIG!

Some new stuff.

The new tool Bristol Bulldog Mk II. Made famous when one was crashed by a Plt Off DRS Bader.

An M109A2. This can be made into a Canadian M109A2/A3 with the biggest change being replacing the kit chevron track with Diehl tracks.

And a P-38J. I won't be going resin crazy on this, but will be doing it in an experimental night intruder scheme.

I have the 109 and Stuka and now the Kate. From what I have read they have been getting better with each release. I should look for the 190 as thats probably my fav a/c.

Got a few things recently. I have the armament book that Saul showed and the turret and weapons is in the mail. While looking for FW 190 stuff I found 3 very cool books. I got one on kindle and the other two in print. I'll get the third in print soon. They are the 34 year project of a gentleman and detail the Radial Engined FW 190s built by Fiesler, Arado, and NDW. They have history, factories, prints, camouflage info ect as put out by each company. A LOT of info. Finally I got a Quintos cockpit for the Border 1/36 Bf 109 G6, German Fire Extinguisher placards, and another ZM 1/32 Bf 109 G-14 which I am excited to build as I can do a tall tail and maybe an AS engined version.

I had to make an airport run to Edmonton on Tuesday. After discharging my duty, I was able to hit a book store, art store and of couse, a model shop before RTB. I had intended to only pick-up some glue, filler putty and epoxy sculpting putty. Well, I came home with this too.
