I'm busy trying to connect the AB to the compressor, it's not the same thread as the Badger i have, and this one have a quick coupling (not sure what it's called in english).

is that the fpc version of the evo? if so, i got the same ab (but it collects dust!)
that's a quick connector and you would need to either unscrew the quick connector and get yourself an adaptor for your (i guess) badger thread hose (badger -> 1/8") or you get yourself a quick coupling (NW2,7xouter thread badger or 1/8", depending on your hose) - the latter is a much more elegant solution when you have more than one ab. all my abs are equipped with quick connectors and i would never return to screwing/unscrewing ...
have a look here: http://www.airbrush4you.de/shop/contents/en-us/d71.html
or here: http://www.h-haider.de/3205.jpg (that is a coupling with 1/8" thread, you would need the above mentioned badger to 1/8" adaptor to connect it to your hose)
She's right in more ways than you may realize- brass on brass is a very solid connection. Problem is the brass has a tendency to 'give' the female fittings expand while the male threads contract some during the tightening process. Constant loosening and changing one side (the hose fitting stays the same) can cause uneven wear in the thinnest fittings threads, this causes leaks and splits. I didnt know they made these for airbrushes- I'll definitely find some for mine.
