same nice details as on the Dshk'a with crew, you can shoose from options with hands molded on to the weapons or loose hands (that really looks like they hold on to something!)

Sweet! That looks like a great gun. I just got a badger-knockoff in the raffle at the Desert Classic con. I'm looking forward to breaking that out and giving it a shot.

I'm busy trying to connect the AB to the compressor, it's not the same thread as the Badger i have, and this one have a quick coupling (not sure what it's called in english).
Digging down deep in the plumber fittings :)

Quick Couplings are the way to go! I have a Badger and a Iwata (yuck) and use the quick couplings all the time...

That sure raised questions here for me. I have been a Badger user for many years but quite frankly since I bought the Iwata HP B + the Badger has been gathering dust.

Granted, it is only a Badger 150 . I have not tried the fancier and also pricier Badger models but it seems to me that just comparing these two the Iwata is made of more durable materials and certainly sprays better.

Bagge , you don't have to worry about a nicer airbrush. You are already there. Just need to go back to the dealer and get the rest of the parts. Let me know how well you like it. I have drooled over them more than once.

Cheers, Christian B)

If it's what I'm thinking its called a 'quick disconnect'. We use them on gas lines at fixtures (stoves ect) and for air chucks on large compressors. Of course i'm gonna look at this stuff with a plumber's eye! lol

After using an Aztec for years and having a Krome... am not pleased with the Iwata...

I have found my brush to be difficult to keep clean. I am used to blowing some cleaner and the distilled water through the brush and moving on... The gravity cup on this brush will just not come clean. I have to clean it each day I use it... I painted 2 coats on a scrap model the other day and had to disassemble the brush to get it as free of residue as I wanted it... :idonno

Of course, that just might be me being anal-retentive... :hmmm

I'll continue to use it for its intended purpose... general Air Brushing... the Krome is wonderful... and does such great fine lines...

I know lots of people who swear by brand XYZ... a couple of guys love their Harbor Freight $15 Air Brushes... all a matter of personal taste... Sorry for hi-jacking the thread... and for ranting... it is one of those days...

Have at it- lol I'm using my first, a Paache H. I got it back in August. I love the convenience of being able to spray nearly anything I want but the clean up really kills it. This is why I'm trying to switch to Acrylics (and a few of those 1/4 oz paint cups instead of the bottles) -its all good.

@ Barney:Hey,no problem Barney!

I always like to hear from modelers what there opinions are about products used.
Your opinion may be different from others....so be it.
It's not like, member A is wrong and member B is right. Some might have other experiences on the same product.

Greetings,Ron.

Barney,

Not a problem with telling all of your experience. I covered my airbrushes in another thread. Clean up is a chore with any and it depends on the use given.

Hey,you will love that one,got it also.
Check out the DVD Mats, they got some cool accessories on it!

Besides the Evolution,I have a Tamiya HG double action and I think it might be even better then the H&S,
Have it since the early 90's and [it still] works wonderfull.

I sit in the cheapo Harbor freight Camp

I got mine with a compressor for a mere $60 a few months ago and it works wonderful

I will of course upgrade in the future but for now its fine by me (y)

Got a very cool book called Captured Eagles vol 1. It comes with decals and transfers for 4 aircraft.

Awesome pictures in side and 4 of the 4 aircraft on the decal sheet are ones I want to do. A Me 109 K4, 2 Fw 190 A8s and a He 162. Well worth the money and I can hardly wait for the next one.

is that the fpc version of the evo? if so, i got the same ab (but it collects dust!)

that's a quick connector and you would need to either unscrew the quick connector and get yourself an adaptor for your (i guess) badger thread hose (badger -> 1/8") or you get yourself a quick coupling (NW2,7xouter thread badger or 1/8", depending on your hose) - the latter is a much more elegant solution when you have more than one ab. all my abs are equipped with quick connectors and i would never return to screwing/unscrewing ...

have a look here: http://www.airbrush4you.de/shop/contents/en-us/d71.html
or here: http://www.h-haider.de/3205.jpg (that is a coupling with 1/8" thread, you would need the above mentioned badger to 1/8" adaptor to connect it to your hose)
