You gotta wonder how long those pickups lasted with those big guns rattling ever nut and bolt loose. Think it would void the warranty? :rotf

Great score guys (y)

No picture but I got a nice new supply of drill bits from Drill Bit City.
Had to buy brand new 82 wire size bits as they didn't list any resharpened in that size. Got to be extra careful with them!

Also got the new Loyd Carrier No.2 Its an interesting vehicle and is it ever crowded. Guys from the Netherlands will find it exciting because there are 3 Netherlands markings options.

Ooh tempting!Something that makes it even more interesting for me,is that the boxart vehicle has the markings of the 43 Wessex Infantry Division,a unit that fought in the area that i live in in januari 1945.
Perhaps,perhaps,perhaps...

Went to the local hobby shop yesterday and hung out for a little bit. Then went over to the model section and picked these out. The 2 armor kits are from some Ukraine model companies and seem to be pretty sweet on the inside. Then just couldn't pass up on the Eduard SSD III. Have the Roden kit, but the Eduart kit is quite sweet even though it is so tiny.

The main reason for the micro armor is the Me 323 Gigant I have in process. :)

Nice scores. Have you ever built any ACE or UM kits before? I have. Word of advice: Test fit often! UM kits tend to be a bit fiddly in assembly; sometimes they have weak suspension making it tough to keep the wheels on. ACE kits need a lot of clean up. Every part should be gone over extensively. They do build up into excellent looking kits once done. I'll be watching to see these two in progress.

Yeah Maddog, I looked them over in the hobby shop before buying. As I doa LOT of test fitting that isn't really an issue. Figured these would be somewhat challenging. The Pzkw II actually has photo etched tracks that have to have a LOT of little tabs bent. That should be fun if a bit repetitive.

Hey Bob! The Seimens Schuchert DIII was actually a better plane than the Fokker D VII. The main reason it had problems was the Germans started using a different oil than castor oil for lubrication and it caused a lot of problems. The most interesting thing about this plane is the engine look up the Seimens Halkie (sp) rotary engines. They were quite interesting.
