Phil,how is that Arado kit? It's pretty cheap on Hannants right now and I was toying with getting it.

Hi Warren, sorry just seen your question - it looks great, I am Classic Airframes biased though!!! , typical CA quality, nicely done details, a bag of resin goodies, choice of the E or F version, you have to cut off the E version nose but it's an easy straight cut, two props, one E camo two F camo's, one as a night fighter with long dampened exhaust pipes, pre drilled holes for struts.

Excellent Eagle. I've done the P/E tracks before and I was actually very surprised at how easy they were to do, even with all the folds. Just remember to anneal them first; it makes things so much easier.





These are my Christmas acquisitions from Christmas 2014, but I got most of them in January.

Another one I've wanted for awhile:

These next two I bought over a year ago, but finally had the money to pay for them. My friend had been holding them for me:

Now I just need to buy about four to six flatbed cars to put on either end of these trains to complete them.

And finally, a couple of surprises that someone gave me at Hobby Day. He picked them up at a local train show:

The aircraft's decals are completely shot, but I'll be making this a German aircraft since I have a ton of spare German decals.

I do have a few more coming in from Hobbylink Japan that may arrive in a couple more weeks. Then I'll finally have all my Christmas acquisitions. I can't wait to start digging into some of these!

I was finally able to pick up one of these

I had picked up some Tiger Air decals and a Revell A320, but, the Revell has the wrong engines. With airliners being a major personal interest of mine, I'm excited to finally get the proper kit to put those decals on.

Well the last of the Christmas presents have arrived. Okay 2 arent presents, they are for a group build. So from my younger son I have 2 new books. The figure painting one is like a part 2. I recommend getting volume 5 as well as this one volume 9. This one has a lot of colour theory and so should be invaluable as I attempt to paint figures. The Ammo of Mig book is in the que for reviews.

This is the new AFV Sd.Kfz 251/9 Ausf C. They made a late model originally and finally have the early version. Also some Passion Decals for Artillary and SPGs. It had all the de cals not usually given in a kit for firing tables to amps.

And unfortunately I have broken my new years resolution already. I have a 1/32 Ho 229 coming and the new Ukraine KrAZ-6446 Tractor w/ChMZAP-5247G Semi-Trailer. I tried finding it on the Takom site but cant so found this pic on the net.

Very interested in doing this one.

What was the resolution James? I was able to order the 2 WNW kits I wanted for Christmas, not sure when they will arrive. Had a choice get the WNW kits I wanted or the Go229 and the HK Do 335. Those are new kits the WNW Gotha and the Fok D7 I ordered might not be around later.

Not to buy. Held off on the Ho-229 and Do-335 and a few others but popped for the Ho today. I'll just have to keep resisting. Only one I'll get for sure is the WNW AEG G.IV when it comes out. Try not to buy anything else except paints etc.
