I'm not that impressed with the tracks as the kit comes with plastic ones which seem suitable. Metal and then hammering pins in... at least the pins are pre-cut.
It is not Deja Vu. This is my second one as I plan to replace my quarter scale Hobbycraft kits:
What can I say? I want these pups!
Refilling on some supplies (F-106 finished one tube already):
Got the sharkmouth decals on the way!

Some more views of the DEF Model conversion for the Meng pickup truck to arm it with a BMP-1 turret.
Above, two frets of PE with one quite thick. Below, note the spare wheel included.
Decals and metal barrel are included. Yes, that is an office chair!

It is Resin James, the suspension material has to be washed off, ultrasonic does fine. They have on the site that then can print in metal now. Don't know the cost of that.
Wonder if that powder stuff is what SnJ powders were.

...so by way of 'prepping' for this years' campaigns, I've been investing in all sorts of extras since just before Christmas, and ordered the last of the bits'n pieces from Hannants this morning. In no particular order here's what's already here or on the way:
For the Mirage IIIC (IDF Campaign):
Master pitot & Aires resin MB4 seat.
For the Mirage F1 (Things We Love Campaign):
Neomega resin cockpit, Berna decals & Master pitot.
For the F-5N Tiger (Learning Curve Campaign):
Quickboost resin seat & Eduard 'Zoom' set.
For the (1:32) BAe Hawk (Learning Curve Campaign):
Xtradecal decals & Master pitot.
For the F-16C (Modern Jets Campaign):
Tamiya 'Detail-Up' set, Afterburner decals, Verlinden resin seat & Eduard 'Zoom' set.
For the Hunter FR10 (Recce Campaign):
Resin camera nose & Xtradecal decals.
The MiG 21R, also for the Recce Campaign is the 'Profi Pack' boxing so won't be needing any AM help whatsoever. There's also a couple of non-Campaign builds hanging-around the bench that I've bought some 'goodies' for (one will be my first 'review' here), but I'll leave them as a surprise for now.

Was over at Target last weekend and noticed the Nikon L30 cameras were being marked down to under $75. As Target was out I went looking around and found one at Best Buy for $75 and some odd cents.
What does this have to do with hobby? What ya think I use for my photos? My old L24 is going to be relegated to work now and I will have to make a new frame etc. to fit the new cam case to tone down the flash and to hold my jewelers loupe lens.

The pictures look good, and I wont have to sand that horizontal seam running the length of the intakes, so they'll be worth every penny.
