Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Latest Acquisitions

Look what came for me in the mail today! Carlos Andrea wants me to do an article in an upcoming book when Logistics is complete. I have known Carlos since 1985.

Out of the clear blue, I got this unexpectedly in the mail today! A limited edition, I got number 81 of a total of 350 printed. It has a retail price of $150 and well worth it! Gorgeous book! I had no idea he had produced so many products, even though I was his original distributor in America for about his first 15 years. I met him when he was a sculptor for Verlinden products. My, how far he has came!!!

A great book, for you figure guys out there, I would highly recommend it!

Hey Bill,

Here are some shots off the web. Some are criticizing it as an expensive catalog. I don't see it as that but then, I got it free and I know what it cost to print a hardback 300 plus page book like this. I would pay the price for it because of it's historical value to me. But, then, that's me.

What a nice gift! Wonder if the critics have seen inside the book. Personally I'd be lost on the pages with the Pinups.

This is my first AirFix airplane kit. I wanted to see if they are good as people claim. It does have some interesting features. So we will see.

Nice scores gentlemen. Terry enjoy the Typhoon. It is a nice little kit.

Wolf, I did one of those in 1/72 scale. That was a fun project; yours will be even more fun!

The first of my Christmas models came in that I bought with my Christmas money. Pics forthcoming.

(y) Now you need a Sherman to put on it.

Terry B)

Aye, that would be an option. I had something else in mind and stupidly missed a FW190 on Ebay that went for a really good price - hate it :vmad

Mark, I saw the kit in 1/72 as well. It would have been a challenge to put together, something I wouldn't even try myself. Not sure why, but 1/72 doesn't agree with me :tomato

Nice! I picked up a Dragon Wagon several years ago, but have yet to start it. I have the full Eduard Big Ed pe set for it. Been thinking about getting a set of 3D printed drivechain/gears for it from Click2Detail.

I understand Lawrence, not everyone can build the small scale.

Paul, then I am quite mad since I did build mine in 1/72 scale.

But then everyone already knew that didn't they... :eek:hyeah

Also got the new Loyd Carrier No.2 Its an interesting vehicle and is it ever crowded. Guys from the Netherlands will find it exciting because there are 3 Netherlands markings options.

And I got another Toyota technical. This one to go with a neat modification of a BMP-1 turret in the back.

And lastly the new T-90 by Meng. This one has a dozer attachment. I was also surprised that the big red "eyes" that seem such a defining part have electronic circuitry to make them actually work.
