I just saw this interesting article about a Ju 52 that was located in the Black Sea. It appears to be in amazing condition as well.

True, possible that they got out but since there were no survivors you know they all perished. They would probably be close to the wreckage.

In the case of the Hunley there were remains still inside but that was a huge historical significance being the first submarine used in combat, those remains were buried after the recovery.

I think Ryan is right, study it and let it be.

That and there are several Ju 52's in museums and others that do fly. It isn't like the TBD Devastator in that no remaining craft exist other then a few at the bottom of the ocean.
