Interior color for Early Berge-Panther D's ??

I was wondering if the early Berge-Panther D's would have the RLM Grey( Tamiya XF-22 color( similar to Field Grey) as a floor/sponson color? I know a directive came down in the later part of '44- All Panthers/Jagd-Panther having an Interior color of Red Oxide. This was later over turned back to the RLM color below the Sponsons & Elfinbein above the Sponsons. I might just go with an Educated guess & paint it in the RLM Grey ( Tamiya XF-22) I was hoping some one would have a Definitive answer ??
