Gear selector knobs

I just got some more pens, the gel ones and the first thing one has to do before use is remove the cap on the tip. Looking at this cap, it is ball shaped with a hole in one end. Glue a piece of wire there and it is a perfect match for a knob such as found on gear shifts.

The pens I bought where Bic Velocity Gel 0.7.
Hope this is of use to someone.

Neat idea James. what I generally do is dip the shifter in some CA and build it up in a ball.

James, have you tried painting them? If they work, I guess I am going to pillage them fromthe office supply cabinet before I leave!
