Dragon JadgPanther rear deck problem - HELP!!!!

Hi guys - I need a little help. I am working on the Dragon JadgPanther and I have come across an issue, maybe. The armored grill over the rear air intake appears to be short.

If you look at the instructions, it appears to be drawn in such a way that this part does leave a gap at the back end. Did this gap really exist? or is this a problem with the kit?

Well I'm a little embarrassed. Just checked the PE frets and the engine deck screens actually extend out over that gap. Looks like its correct.

Isn't there another piece? Hinged together? I don't have a kit handy but thought there was another piece.
