"I've fallen and I can't get up" i'm sure a lot of you remember that commercial catch phrase.
I think i'm falling into that trap where you get more projects started than you finish. Well i've been working on this Brummbar until the urge to paint hits me again, there are two in the paint booth right now.
Well anyway here's where I stand right now: Griffon PE-ATAK Zimm set and Friulmodel tracks.
Here is part of the PE set:
This is where it will be installed:
You can also see two of the ATAK resin plates front and rear.
This is one more fine kit from Dragon with the exception of the missing zimmerit that you as the builder need
to add. The fit and details are fine as frog hair and you can't get no better than that boys and girls. It also would have been nice to have some sort of interior even if it cost a few extra bucks more.
Iron Mike has one that is a lot farther along here but he's been missing since July?????? :affraid:
So until next time
Tony the Mutt
Will do Mike.
It's been a productive day at the bench and I almost got all of the ATAK zimm installed. It was almost a perfect fit on all sides and that makes for a fun time had by all.
See Ya

Plugged up a few holes today :
This is really a nice kit

I'm having a time trying to get that gun to snug up in there just right. I'm gaining on it but it's not there just yet.
Thanks for looking
Tony the Mutt
Fixed the gun problem this morning. Found a clue while looking at the box art and the photos i've posted last night and noticed that the groove in the barrel was not showing. That told me the ball sleeve over the barrel was not seated all the way down. That thing is a really tight fit so I filed a little off the edges of the gun that went inside the ball and some inside the ball as well and when I put it back on it hit bottom and there was the groove and the gun mount stays put when you put the casement on.
If you ever build this kit or the new one with zimmerit watch out for this fit problem.

You're Welcome Jenny

I've got a question for you guys and gals. What do you think of the colors for the interior
Your opinions very much appreciated
Tony the Mutt
I think this looks a little better don't you?
Thanks

Lets take a look through the open hatches and see what we can find.
For a closed top machine you can see quite a bit and if you installed a wheat light in there, even more. 8)
Does Archer have those shell markings decals?
This is getting to be fun and Thanks for the comments
Tony the Mutt
I think I like it too Alex.
The more I get done the more I like it but it looked really good while still in the box.
If you're not getting bored, Y'all come back to see me.
