This may or probably may not get finished. A Luchs. Not sure yet which I will do, an A1 or A2. A1 has appeal because of monotone paint job, but dont like the IR hanging off the side of the turret. Or maybe an A2 whch looks cleaner but is in NATO Standard scheme. Will see.

I remember that I had an encounter with a "luchs" at night while in service in Germany, they are sooo freaking silent, and that's a good thing for a recon vehicle, however they are rather huge (not a good thing for a recon vehicle)

Going to follow this one for sure! :popcorn

Thanks guys. Think I will do the A1 version. Have ordered a bottle of Bundeswehr gelb olive from Ammo of Mig. Its a new product. Will see how it goes.

I remember reading some years back on one of the specialist armour sites that the 'perfect' :hmmm , mix for overall German olive drab was 3 parts Tamiya OD mixed with one part Tamiya Field Grey. Don't know why I recall that, probably because it's easy to remember !!

Just a thought, and somebody else's opinion, not sure if it helps.

Okay this wont happen. The more Takom kits I do the less I like them. Over engineered and coarse detail. I'll get back to it some day. Instead check out the Fennek thread.

Over engineered and coarse detail...that doesn't sound like a fun kit. :S

Ah yeah, you are going to do the German version of the Fennek,I hope I will find the time to do the Dutch version with the modification that I've planned.
