BA-64-3SKh Gobi Desert May 1947

Started the painting and weathering process. I don't want the color to match the rest of the vehicle, but I want the same tonal quality, so I have a lot of work to do!

The 3D printing is fantastic John!

My dentist has a 3D printer in house and makes things like caps while you watch and wait. I'm wearing one now! Is that how you did that?

This part was designed by a friend, Chris Benshof, and it was printed by Shapeways. If you want a set you can get them too! In office crowns, onlays and such are milled from solid blocks, as such are not really set up to make hobby parts.

OK, I got it!

I had a crown made there a few months back and as I watched their 3D printer make my crown while I waited, I was thinking, "Wow, if only I had one of these at home"! Jumping to conclusions, you know!

Looks really great John!!!
