Well I have finished the K1A1 - good kit just let down a little by the rubber tracks, doing those indies of late has made me realize they are way better if you don't mind the work.

Now onto Japan!

To me, someone who knows very little about contemporary MBT's, it's so interesting that so many 'western' tanks take their 'styling' cues (wrong word I know but it's the only one I have) from the Leo series, as opposed to the Abrams or Challengers, guess a lot of that has to do with the variations on the main gun aswell.

Just a thought.

Looking forward to seeing the Type 10, Dave.... possibly a LeClerc after that ?? :tomato

Yes Ian, that tank is coming when I get to France. Got a few to do before that though.
Next up is Tamiya's newish 1/35 JGSDF TYPE 10 - nice plastic and detail - only let down by them putting some ejector pin marks in places that will be seen. It has rubber tracks but they look to be of a very high quality unlike the ones in the Korean kit.

Been motoring on with this as I was planning to finish this "trip" by the end of the year and I have another 7 countries to go to after Japan -

Nearly there just some need to paint the lights etc.
