All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

I can understand that, driving in London, even watford is not for the faint hearted ,probably easier after a few pints of Guinness but i wouldnt recomend it :)
Hendons good, dont miss the Battle of Britain hall, its separate from the main halls and has HE111 JU88 and stuka ect, really quite eerie to see how exposed those guys were in the front of HE111

I made that suggestion last night but no one bought it. I did find I"m better motivated to walk another mile to get another pint. :drinks

find yourself a fullers brewery pub and have pint of London Pride :)

That looks good, Paddy! Have one of those for me, Bob! :drinks

I think I may have missed my chance for that one but we're going back down town today to the big HQ at St. James Sq. I doubt I'll ever be closer to it! :drinks Holy cow! That's a 2 hour walk. :blink Better be some damn good beer Paddy! :rotf

Lots of pubs , whatever the brewery have what they call Guest beers so London pride is found in a lot of them. :)
St James's puts you right next to Big ben, Buckingham palace and Westminster Abbey :)

Have a great day, looks like sunshine today as well

Actively being worked upon right now...

Looks swell James. I got a weeks worth of chores to catch up on but I hope to hit the bench a bit today.

James, Sherman, excellent progress! Way to go man.

I haven't done anything lately. We've had a bad heat wave hit and right after that my air conditioner bit the dust. It's been too hot to do anything, much less build. Hopefully getting a new one tomorrow.

I've got some oldies on the bench. Aurora's Mummy (original 1963) and the Moonbus (Moebius rerelease).

After disassembly, a double soak in CSC to remove the enamels and scraping off 54 year old glue, I have a pile of parts:

And it took some creative clamping:

I'm not going nuts with the Moonbus, but I am lighting it and decided it needed the figures rebuilt into the sandwich eating scene:

A lot of putty next...
