The scariest place I have visited, in the US, was the Ozarks. We went canoeing there and it was seriously weird.

You guys are hilarious! Kenny, I love the minions. Way to go!

I apologize for bringing this down, but I'm coming down with something, possibly the flu. I have a Dr. appointment coming up to be sure. I might even get some modeling done since I don't feel that sick. We'll see though.

Applied for an online tech chat support job yesterday. Already had a phone interview today and passed that portion, just finished up an online interview as well. Now to just wait to see about an in person interview. :yipee Of course it probably helps that my cousin is one of the people doing the hiring. A little nepotism never hurts :rotf

Good luck with the job hunt Ryan. Take advantage of every inside edge you can get.

Hope you get over your flu quickly Duke.

As for me, pinched a finger nail at work today building a retaining wall with those big concrete blocks. Turned purple right away and I only had one cold pack to keep it chilled for a little bit. By the time I got home it was throbbing pretty good so I had to do the poke with the hot needle trick. I was at the model bench with the needle in the pin vise of course. Big mistake, didn't think the blood would squirt out like that. :pinch:  :bang head

Luckily none of it hit the He 162 that I'm working on. (y)

Best thing you could have done to it Dave, I had the same thing with my toe a while back, pretty nasty stuff but minor workbench surgery can take that pressure off.

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Sorry to hear about the finger Dave! :eek:hmy:

Reminds me of the time I caught my left index fingernail in my mini mill. Put 3 big slices through the nail quick as a blink. Sunday nite and no way was I going to one of the horrible emergency rooms in this town. So thought about it and took some clear plastic sheet, heat formed it to about the right shape, cut it out and superglued it all together. worked like a champ and protected it as it healed and the nail grew out. Would have been better if I hadn't Effed it in the first place. :smack

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Just spent my entire lunch period calling the parents of my little darlings. Let's see... It is OK for them to call me a MFer, swear at me, use their phones in class, eat and drink on my computers, and generally be disruptive of the educational process. However, I have to fill out tons of paper work to even think about sending someone to the officer...

Did you have a personal conference with the student? Did you make contact with the parents? Did you offer appropriate consequences in class and out of class? Have you had a conference with the students and parents? NO? Well then you haven't followed the proper protocol. Don't send us your problems until you have exhausted the protocol.

I love teaching...

Comment removed on the advice of my lawyer... Said I could get fired for it. Yup, that is how far we have fallen.....

Hi.

If it'd hit the Heinkel it'd give new meaning to 'Battle Damage'.

Take care and watch for infection.

Happy modelling.

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Shalom.

Got into my stash very early this mornig to organize it a bit and found a slew of lawn darts I didn't remember having.
A couple of 1/72 Hobbycraft Cf-100 CLUNKS" a Mk IV and a Mk V, A 1/72 Revell F-101 Voodoo, a 1/72 Hasegawa F-102 and F-106, a 172 AMT/Ertl F-104S Starfighter with LOTS of weapons, a 1/72 Revell/Monogram SR-71 Blackbird, a 1/72 Italeri B-58 hustler and a 1/72 Hasegawa Mig 25 Foxbat and mig 31 Foxhound. They've all been started and sitting since before I moved to where I am now.

I also found a 1/48 Monogram F-102, a 1/48 Hobbycraft CF-105 Mk I Avro Arrow and a 1/48 lindberg Mig 31 Foxhound. Those haven't been started yet and are big models. I might just order the after-market Avro Arrow cockpit detail set, the Avro Arrow undercariiage detail set and the Avro Arrow exterior detail set. That's be after I receive the 1/48 CF-100 mk. IV cockpit detail set I ordered today.

Cheers from Peter

No bringin' this crowd down Duke! Dang, I wish Renee's grandmother was still around. She had a home remedy that could cure anything! I think it would strip paint too. Anyway, no one coughed around her!
