IIRC, the chute was intrgrated with the seat and the crewmember sat on it. You can google for a video of a Klaxon and see the crews running out to the alert birds without the chutes or harnesses, they were on the seats and all they did was sit down and strap in. I"m pretty sure if they unstrapped from the seat they kept the harness on which was attached to the chute...being a bomb loader I never saw them moving around in side so I'm really just guessin'.

It (the movie "Fury")was good. I think that they got the equipment down pretty accurately.
I would have liked to see more of the Tiger tank. very cool.

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?
Spending the day back at home instead of 130 miles away for work. Just doing stuff around the house and applying for jobs here. Starting to get burnt out on living out of a bag for most of the week. Makes it difficult to get any modeling done. But I do have a lead on a position for incoming tech chat. Luckily my cousin is one of the people doing the hiring :yipee The pay would be less than I make now. But it equals out since the extra rent and gas for my current job cuts out any benefit of being payed more. One a more model related note I may be doing some models for the new Erickson Air Collection Museum :geek

Needing to burn some vacation time, I'm training two new assistants to help out in the studio. Gentlemen may I introduce Boudreaux and Thibodeaux.
I think Boudreaux is kissing up. He heard that I like Corsairs so he wants to put one on every model.
Thibodeaux is a big duck hunter and believes that we should up gun everything. I keep telling him no. :smack
