All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

a very well deserved honor... Do you think you will take it to nationals?

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Thanks, everyone! Mark, it was great seeing you again- and don't tell anybody there were only three entries in the WWII twin category! ;)

It was awesome seeing you again too. We should have gotten a pic together, now that I think about it.

Oh, and your secret is safe with me!

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Green stuff coming up from the lungs, running out of my nose and I HAVE to go to work tomorrow... :soldier :soldier

But, I got the slide shows put together and am ready to WOW the teachers and students with a fantastic presentations. How do I know it is fantastic? The last two groups of students I presented it to passed the Ohio Graduation Test (social studies) at 100%. :coolio :dance

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Hoping to take the afternoon off work today, in need of some mental health time. Just finding everything extremely frustrating this morning. Hopefully spend some time sitting at my bench today, working on my 747.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Signed in 4 models and 2 diorama/vignettes for the show in Leuven, Belgium on March 24.
First time i try to enter in a competition but i feel i must try it once :S
And all entries except one is from campaigns here on MA :D
Not expecting a prize but interesting to hear the judges word about my builds.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Mats, Good luck in the contest. I do hope you have as much fun as I do at them. Don't stop going; you learn just as much, if not more; about how to improve your skills as you would here on the Forums. I highly recommend them.

Getting ready to go down and set up the Hall for Hobby Day tomorrow. After it is set up, I get to spend the rest of the day building models there. And I can lock them away there overnight to come back and work on them more at Hobby Day the next day. I'm hoping to finally complete all the assembly on my Dora railgun this weekend. It's about time I got it to the painting stage.

Wish me luck guys!

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Why take it to the dump though? Bet somebody on Ebay would have loved to buy it.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Savages!!!! Sorry to hear that Paddy!

:idonno

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Yeah, why dump it? Man, I hate the thought of such awesome work being unceremoniously dumped! That is wrong on so many levels. You should have offered it here, or on E-bay to sell, or any other Forums for that matter.

That just ain't right!

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Its not something i would want to post, it was 600mm square and weighed quite a bit. why would anyone on a forum like this want it when they can build their own.....which lets face it is where the fun is. I'm afraid its a hard fact you have to live with in England, properties have no spare room unless you are loaded so you have to be strict about what you can keep and what you cant. I had my fun with it :cheer: time to move on. (y)

Shalom Paddy.

I feel you pain man. Too bad that the youngsters didn't appreciate it. Too bad you couldn't have taken the vehicles off the diorama and sold them. Did you ever consider donating finished models/dioramas to a Regimental Armoury?

I live in a 16' x 16' apartment and thus know that you can't keep all you build. *YOU HAD FUN AND THAT'S THE MAIN THING". You're photos will keep the memory alive.

Cheers from Peter
