You should see some of the stuff the neurosurgeons had to do to get his shunt for the hydrocephalus working correctly.

Thanks guys. We have an April 9 pre-op appointment and then hopefully a short wait till surgery. We need Medicaid approval before we do the surgery, which Ian is an outstanding candidate for. Medicaid here is backed up because of staff reductions. All parties have also agreed the it is wise to keep Ian overnight after the surgery to make sure everything is working properly.
The neurologist did lower the dose on his phenobarbital, which is a narcotic, so that he can be physically alert enough to go back to school. We've also contacted our school board member to light a fire under the school board's butt to get Ian his own aid. We've done all the things need to get it and he does qualify with his seizures and brain injury but they are dragging their feet. So we'll see how that is going to play out in the next few days.

I've done some simple bases for the vehicles i do with in the competition tomorrow, took some leftover laminate ceiling and cut out and routered the edges, and then some stain on the edge. looks ok
Back to the bench!

Got a little shop time in yesterday afternoon and this morning...mostly in getting the rest of the Devastator fuselage closed up and in working on the PE for the interior of the Mustang...should've splurged on the exterior set too...but oh well

Everything packed for going to the show in Leuven tomorrow
just hope the roads are ok, it started to snow and they give cold so we take it easy!
Report coming tomorrow evening (must remember to take pic of the bar and bbq...)

Best laid intentions. Cindy and I got out and about doing chores this morning, first weekend I felt like getting out, we eat lunch at the little deli we like, didn't make it home before...

Went to the Indianapolis show today with my friend Jeremy who is "fermis" on some other forums. I got a third in 1/48 jets with my academy T-33A. Good show. We both bought a ton of kits! It was a great day! :snoopy

Nice Easter feast down here, more ham than you can think of.
I got in the garage this afternoon after a nice nap, and all these little things that are bugging me so I think I'm going to take care of them.
The jack block from the Panther for Cold Steel has been laying around the bench for a while, so...
Going to age up the dark yellow and get it attached where it belongs
while I had the oils out,
This has been bugging me. The base for the Corsair, going to finish it and permanently mount everything.
Now..nappy time again...

Okay who brought the stomach flue to the party??? Went to work a couple of hours early to get a good head start and ended up turning around and going home and sleeping for 2 hours. Got to work 20 minutes late and feeling off. Well Off has become not well again. Not thinking I am going to be able to make a full shift if it keeps up
