All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Well after 3 doctor visits still can't shake this cold. now it's just the sinuses but still, going to try and go to work in the AM. Maybe just getting back at things will shake out out also.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Hate to hear you're still feeling poorly . What ever this is seems to be the king of come backs. Even the cat went to the vet today.

Hope you get well soon.

Cheers, Christian B)

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Its not something i would want to post, it was 600mm square and weighed quite a bit. why would anyone on a forum like this want it when they can build their own.....which lets face it is where the fun is. I'm afraid its a hard fact you have to live with in England, properties have no spare room unless you are loaded so you have to be strict about what you can keep and what you cant. I had my fun with it :cheer: time to move on. (y)

Shalom Paddy.

I feel you pain man. Too bad that the youngsters didn't appreciate it. Too bad you couldn't have taken the vehicles off the diorama and sold them. Did you ever consider donating finished models/dioramas to a Regimental Armoury?

I live in a 16' x 16' apartment and thus know that you can't keep all you build. *YOU HAD FUN AND THAT'S THE MAIN THING". You're photos will keep the memory alive.

Cheers from Peter

Hey Peter..I got 18ft x 17ft  So now i feel guilty. On ave the properties in England are the smallest in Europe . i paid nearly £200k for my postage stamp flat, thats $300k  Soon we will be like the Japanese living on shelves :cheer:

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Get well soon Bob, Colds are the worst thing, you dont feel really ill but doing anything is a pain...Snowing here again today.. Supposed to be Spring here but even the daffodils are reluctant to come out.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

I'm still fighting my flu too, but I think I have it on the run. I did get a lot of progress done on a number of models as proof. Feel free to check them out in Armored Fury and Wesendorf Field.

I have a physical therapy appointment today and then I have work on Wednesday and Thursday. I'm glad; I'm getting tired of not making any money. I need to save up for the Colorado Nationals.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Downloaded, rescaled and printed out drawings for a "scheinwolf" :) gonna try and scratch one for my WR 360.
Now i gonna start making a mold for the wheels (use one from the railwagon from trumpeter, exactly the right size!)
Pics will come when i know if i will make it :S

I hope to hit the bench for the first time in two weeks. Think I'm finally getting over this cold I've had, that's what I'm telling myself...

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Visiting family in NJ- snow yesterday? Oy! Met up with modeler Dave Klanica, all-around nice guy. We took road trip to Avenel Hobbies- a great shop.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Welcome to the right coast Chuk ;). Yup...supposed to get another big snow drop tomorrow night...

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Spent the weekend trying to sort model parts again after Friday workmen knocked over my storage area. These guys are so careless.

I think I'm going to go after monetary compensation this time though since some of the models are ruined.

Cheers

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Waiting for Ian's neurologist to call. Ian started having break through partial complex seizures again. We're of of choice for med changes so the next step is a vagus nerve stimulator. It's similar to a pacemaker except it sends a short pulse to the vagus nerve in the brain to interrupt seizure activity. It will be day surgery at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. Fortunately, Ian's neurosurgeon will be doing the surgery.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Good luck Kenny. Ian will be in my prayers for a successful surgery and successful treatment for those seizures.

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

That's amazing they can do that sort of surgery, wow. Sending major positive mojo to you and your family Kenny! Go Ian! :mpup :zen

Re: All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Hang tough Kenny! Ian don't you fret they're gonna get this worked out buddy!
