1/32 P-38M "M" for madness

Time to bust out the legos! After all this fine work you do want it all aligned and what. I built a simple jig for my 410 with 'em and it worked a treat. The 388 needed overall alignment and I made a custom foamcore stand, but you won't need that- just some bricks.

Cheers!

Just to show I am still working on this beast, here is a shot of the plain engine. No paint and very few parts. But it is stuffed with ball bearings. Forget bb's, talking weight here. This boom will be straight forward, no frills other than detailing the wheel well.I figured I needed to do the left boom to insure straightness on both and check on gaps on this side also. Thanks for stopping in guys.........Harv

Hey Bob. Thanks for stopping by! Havent got to the nose yet, but I have some steel 3/8" round stock cut for it!......Harv
BTW, what happened to that young feller that used to be your avatar????

All a part of Change Harv! I had an idea this morning about nose weight, took all the old mouse balls..(insert joke here) from the old dead mouses around here and cut the rubber surface off them. Have a nice collection of pretty good sized ball bearings now.

Thanks for looking in everyone HA, mouse balls!. Very small update. cut the plastic heater vents out and installed the PE ones. Much, much better!. Was going to fit the windshield, but decided to wait till I get the gun doors on. Don't know what kind of clearance probs I'll have. Any suggestions of questions, please fire away. Enjoy.....Harv
