That's exactly what I'm hitting. I test fitted the cowl and it just looks wonky.
I have the flat wire from RB productions. I didn't get the connectors they offered but I'm thinking about brass tube somehow. they didn't have turnbuckles like the other subjects did.

I did some test fit on the nose and I can see how it can go sideways pretty quickly. You have to make sure the motor mates up with the engine bearers in the nose plumb and square then the radiator assembly squares things up even more. The way the fuselage halves bulge will cause issues if you just trust it, it should have had more positive bracing up there. I'm trying to see if I can install the radiator assembly first then slip the motor in. But when it was all dry fitted and squared up the engine cowl just dropped right in no problem.
And you konw all that goes out the window when you apply glue.

A rough dry fit and you see it'll be ok. I'm not wiring or plumbing gas lines to the engine. It will not be seen.
I gotta work out my PC10 now, I'll need to paint several of the panels before I glue them in place

I see a fair number of fit up issues there Bob. Don't rush it and ponder where things are out and study up on what could be causing the disparity.
I have been beating the crap out of the trails on my howitzer and am quite happy with what I have so far. There is a fair amount that isn't posted yet that I have done. In some cases, I had to go back several times to remodify what I had already done to make everything work right. The rough parts were where I got ahead of my self and didn't finish the mod in a simple way BEFORE gluing things together. Got it done but made a lot more difficult work to get it there.

I have no doubt you do Paul, like I said, all that is dry fit, even the panel over the cockpit is not glued in yet.
Those are not seams, they are expansion joints!
Note to self, Field Drab has been suggested for PC10, that equates to ?Humbrol 29. Testing...
Well I ordered PC 10 from Sprue Bros. Getting the AK Gen3 paints cause what some of y'all have been saying.
Somehow or another I ended up with 2 bottles of PC12 also so I better figure out what would have had PC12.

I got PC10, PC12, buff and AK branded thinner.
I gave the PC10 and 12 test shots last night.
this is the optional fuselage that comes with the kit. You'll see left to right various test of oils and pigments I was playing with then the PC12 chocolate color then PC10. For the life of me I don't know what's wrong, I could not get it to spray properly. Both colors were thinned with AK's branded thinner with a 1:1 ratio. It worked fine on the PC12. Maybe I didn't shake up the PC10 well enough to start with but it was either too thin or it sputtered badly.
@Jeeves have you run into any issue getting your AK G3 stuff spraying?

I am curious about this PC10 colour after reading this....My idea is to go with olive drab because i have that on the shelf...but....

AK G3 paints either uses their branded thinner or not? 
I'm loading up whatever squirts and going with it. I like the chocolate color one because the guys who wrote about flying those crates kelp using that term.
