slight gap between the wing/fuselage... any suggestions on how to proceed?

Thanks for looking in :drinks

Good shots Eddy. The wing still dry fitted? Figure out what's keeping it from mating right. Is it binding at the attachment point/tab? Is is something inside it's hitting? Does it interlock with the other wing, maybe it's not lining up there.

You try the :bat yet?

Thanks for the suggestions Bob. I appreciate that. I haven't touched it since I took the pics. Had other things to do around here. So, it's all still dry fitted.
Doesn't seem to be binding up anywhere& I don't think the wings inter-lock but, will check it to make sure. Will do it in the mornin' as it's been a long day & I'm tired.

Had the chance ta look this over more closely and put a strait edge to both wings & fuselage. I think I can sand down the fore & aft part of the wing where it attaches to the fuselage which should take care of the gap... :hmmm
Will have to do that later as mom has a Dr appt in a few & wants to go shopping afterwards :bang head

I suggest strips of plsticard between the wings and fuselage...hope that this solve the problem :eek:ldguy

Thanks for the idea Luiz :good: But, I think in this case, the strips will be too big as there's not that big a gap to deal with. I figger on sanding down the front & back of the wings & whatever's left, slap some putty in there

OOk, sanded down the for & aft part of the wings & test fitted them & decided, good enuff fer government work, glued them inplace & slapped some putty on her
