1/48 AccMin ILYUSHIN IL2-M3 Stormovik

Managed to get the central lower wing finished up with the cockpit set in place late last night & test fit the assembly into the fuselage. Looks like it'll line up good. Just needta figger out what's hanging it up as it wont go in all the way :blink :unsure: Me thinks me needsta break out da vaseline... :hmmm :beer
 
I figgered out what the hang up was & got the central wing installed & realised that I forgot to put the I.P. in beforehand so, had to take it apart & insert the I.P. into place & then re-installed the wing panel. The problem is the left-hand pilot's panel (w/ trim wheel) needed to be "pried" away from fuselage whilst sliding the assembly in.

Well, I managed ta git the rear gun mount installed, wings assembled, landing gear painted & waiting to be assembled (y) Almost ready to attach the wings & landing gear but, gotta try gettin' one of my a/bs workin' again... :S :unsure:
 
Well, I figgered out the cowling & assembled it & got it attached, plus, the wings are now on as well. :woohoo: (y) Here's where she sits now as the glue sets...

Things have changed up today so, I'm home & decided to pull the a/bs down but, since my back is hurting I'm not doing too much today.

I just found out the part is $$9.50 thru Badger (part#41-016) Needle tube.

I swapped out parts with my other 175 but have yetto give it a shot :idonno May do that later. along with tear down of my 200...
