Wingnut Wings Moon Pup

hmmm, ok - i see ursa major ... could we get a photo of ursa minor on the other side? pretty please?

the pup's looking way cool but are you optimistic to manage the moon decal repair? how will you remove the remnants of the old decal without damaging the paintwork?

I"ve sanded down any relief of the old decal and plan on placing the new good one directly on top. There's even less decal on the starboard side and I have not placed the big dipper there. But will do so soon. Really hoped those decals would have made it in the 2 weeks since he shipped them...

Since this is out of your control, I have no issue saying it is a completed 2010 build if you do everything except that decal.

Regards,

Close! oh so close!

Here's where we sit right now.

Got a couple more parts to install and some detail painting to do, of course the moon face is needed and the Big Dipper on the starbord side.

The lower port aileron has some issue, I didn't see it till I got these pictures.

Y'all see anything else, let me know.

Technically, that is correct. To explain myself better I should say WW I era is not my category.
You will find more biplanes in my collection as there were more than just a few flying during WW II.
OK, I'm envious of that one but I'm not going any further with it . B) Besides, it's not my scale of choice.

Thanks Glenn. Still a ways to go.

MP,that's some great paintjob...(y)
That wood colored prop is awesome;what kind of paint did you use on the prop?

Greetings,Ron.

Wow MP that looks great!! If I didn't have a bomber on the flight line I would do the Sopwith 1 1/2 strutter that has been calling to me.
