Hello,
I'm back with a bigger project and I like to introduce to you this figures project in a Pacific area during WWII.
The components is the big figures set from Evolution Miniatures, big set 2. The set has 9 marines and a dog is included.
I want to show the man walking in a warm, tropical and swampy environment and the photo below gives an impression of the idea I have.
Source unknown
I have started with putting the figures together. The fit is good, only some small areas needed some filling, but overall the figures are nice and good sculpted. After the build I gave the figures a primer coat with Black Chaos from Citadel and let them dry for 2 day's
That gaves me time to start with the diorama. I used some wood for the underground and with foam, clay and paint I made the base. When everything dried I put the figures on for a test.
At the moment I'm busy with paiting the figures, I paint them with Vallejo Model colors and only the pictures are not very nice, the colors are to hard on the pictures, sorry for that.
I'm also been busy with building up the bases with trees and plants. The trees are home made and some are from Joefix. More will follow, also the water, but that will be after the figures are placed and the base is ready.
Hope you like this project and comments are welcome!
Johanna
