Okay I got this kit when it came out so I could build it for work. Borrowing Sauls boxtop art because mine is burried somewhere.
And here is a couple of days light work.

Body and box just resting on chassis right now. Painted the insides a light grey and will have to weather a bit. Chassis painted flat black. Read the review on PMM before you build this kit. Or be aware to make the front wheels steerable the instructions lead you astray. Do not glue the ball joints on the axle first. Instead sandwich them between the brake drum and the steering linkage and be careful when applying glue. Then carefully glue the assembly onto the axle. Its very tight and close, and it is fragile.
Have to sand some joints and work on the inside of the cab next. Then glue the body and box on. Very simple well thought out design going on here. This is a true joy to build. The hard part will be the cam. If I cant find some good pics of the Libyan markings I need I may have to choose another country. Just have to find a god pic.

Might be able to paint the green today for this nightmare.

Very prolific James, looks good so far, looking forward to this one a I have their 1st pick-up

Thanks guys. But as I cant find a good enough photo of the insignia to make a decal I will do one from Mali. Not as wild, but it will do.
James

If you still have it left over, have you thought about using the ZPU-1 form their previous pickup kit instead of the heavy twin?

After all, it is what you see in this image you posted:

Regards,

I do have the single finished. Suppose I could always pull out my M113 to mount the dual on.

Okay looking at all the pics I can find, they all seem to be minus the trailer mount. Have to figure this out. They also dont use the I Beams. Here it is just dry fitting what I have so far.

yeah, looks like from the picture that its mounted directly in the bed. Would the trailer mount be easily removed?

Looking good though!

I still think you can get some decal that will do that camo, you can clearly see the pattern in that.
