Here is another one from the ancient "started it" archive. This is one that I started back in the early 1980’s and has been sitting around in the box with a few parts glued and the propeller painted gold. (Cool.... meh.) :idonno
I thought I would get it out and try some of the “Letterman techniques “ for weathering olive drab while I puzzled on the Sherman. I really lightened up the OD with the Yellow-green. Maybe too much, but it is all a grand experiment, right? Because it seemed like the flat Tamaiya acrylic really “grabed” the Raw umber wash and went dark with it, I sprayed a gloss clear coat on the whole thing, and then applied the decals and then gave it the wash. So… here it is. :huh:
