Takom Tiger 2 Repair Dio

Thanks Guys,

Sorry for the late reply, head down with placing decals on 88mm rounds. :blink :salute

Next installment of images.
Ok, the 88mm rounds have been detailed and glued into position in the turret and lower hull. Been a long time to get to this stage.
The kit is taking shape, a real tribute to Takom with the immense detail in this kit.

Thank you all for your words.

Takom did a great job on providing us an interior for the king tiger, it really packs in and surprisingly the weight factor makes it a heavy model. The king tiger will be at the front corner of the diorama and will give the viewer something to look into.

I was intentionally going to go the whole hog of providing throat and ear phones and a few personal things lying around within the tank but at the last moment decided against it.

The tank will be the centre piece to the diorama with the engine hanging suspended in the air from the Bussing nag crane jib parked behind it. The interior will be consumed within the overall diorama appearance.

The centre of the engine cover will be off and you can see into the engine bay. There Is a long way to go and I'm fast coming upon the best part. The painting and weathering of the exterior part of the tank.Yay :yipee :v

Michael :)
