OK Seriously, is it overdone? Went back and touched up with some grey primer and some lighter metal colors. covered that with Migs Neutral wash.

Hey Tom, those are for the M8 Howitzer MC, pretty sure those tracks are later than El Al.

Pretty sure i'm going with the Friuls, got some other stuff to get from Spruebros.

Oh...hehe, shows what I know about allied stuff...

Carry on!

Tom

Making progress. Squirted Desert Yellow for base coat, researching the second color, the upper color. Any suggestions on what it was cause I surely ain't spraying that blue color. Not really finding any definitive information using google.

Maybe this will help.

Thanks James and Chris, don't know how I always get these one off colors to work with...:banks head

Up on the running gear, I have a bit of a problem with the idler not actually touching the ground. but I hope once I get the tracks on it won't be noticeable.

One thing troubled me was these stowage racks, no support. Checked out Prime Portal website and saw all sorts of support brackets so I started scratch building. Borrowed some bolt heads from the sprues, Tamiya saw it fitting to supply some extras that need to be cut off and applied where needed.

honey014.jpg

Should have used thinner stock on this, those end pieces are really over stated. But the effect is there.

Added wire for the head lights.

hope you like it! :mpup

Say, it's a Peach Hun? :rotf

I got one little problem. the sand skirts sort of bow in and when I test fit the upper hull to the lower, I have to pry it on over the drive sprocket. I'll have to thin the inside down to make it work.

I'm gonna finish this one!!!

Man it's been over two weeks since I updated??

Well I finished the damn Friuls (Did the Panther tracks also)! they were not easy but I think they are worth the investment.

I used Blackenit on it, then grimmy Black for the pads

Still dry fitted right now, I need to dirty up the hull and still need to decide what camo color to use on the upper.

Also working on a base for this little bugger, first for me to actually finish a base.

Taking the tips from Mike about this product I mixed up some color and did a test run, now the question is does this look like rippled sand in the desert?
