This also reminds Me of th scene from Kelly's Heros , where they find th Tiger I in th Town with "Kelly's Gold" !! Now That would be hot. A Tiger & Th Kelly's Heros Sherman at th bank !!!!

It is one of my favorite movies. In Spain the title of the movie is "Los violentos de Kelly" (translate: Kelly's violents).About more than one occasion I have thought to do this square, with two Tigers, the bank, the houses, etc etc.
Never is late to do this diorama...
I like that you like this small details and this views of the diorama...

Here are a little preview of the work of the roofs.
Tile by tile I will cover each of the buildings on the left side. Using tiles DOMUS brand (with a ratio more than acceptable) I have been covering the surfaces. You will find that some areas are somewhat irregular. It will review it when you have finished all the roofs and see the form of tilt of each of them in the back is correct.
The roof, being of fine clay, can be manipulated with a cutter to shape. Of course, the cut must be clean and without excessive pressure, otherwise the tile is broken.
This left a small advance. Hope you like....
The red lines are the limits of inclination to be provided by roof in the rear...
Before the painting process and subsequent pigmentation, give a hand dilute light putty to seal joints. That way I'll get grip of each shingle and pass and give it some texture, as the tiles are completely smooth and the feeling I want to achieve is this ...

Here is the finished third roof and today I'll do the fourth and last on this side of the diorama...

This week, add the shingles on the house of the upper terrace of the hostel building and the outlet area of the building on the same terrace...
The warehouse of the main building is being redoing. Had some defects in shape and could make it better and how its gable roof.

WoW !! :woohoo: This ranks up there with that Clearvoux(sp?) Diorama ! I just wish I could see this in person. Th Terra Cota tiles are Outstanding ! 
If you don't mind Me asking ... What did you use for Wall paper ? I have a building that I would like to add some Interior detail to.
That's a funny translation for Kelly's Hero's ! :huh: Although. If you wanted to do it accurately ... you would have to use a Post war T-34 & cobbble together a Tiger I turret etc ... A Great DIo none-th-less !!

Before you continue to put the tiles remaining in the main building of the diorama, I redid the little cabin of the terrace.
With the help of Balsa-foam structure made of four walls with a hole to locate the access door.
This material is easy to use and very resistant. With a knife you can carve or draw a texture such as brick, stone, etc etc.
The door is temporary so you can see all of what could be. And that will be the lantern that illuminates the entrance to the little cabin...
