Sicily 1943 (spring)

Hello Yago, This set of pictures look wonderful, my friend(y) Big difference when looking back on the photos of the page before. The buildings now look like they all go together in the scene!! Please explain your technique:cheer:

Randy

In the photos it is estimated quite a bit veered to yellow. It is due to the light of fluorescent (green light).
Let's see. I applied oils of colour White Snow and colour MIG's Buff to clarify all the fronts. And oil of Orange color in the zones of descent of the drainpipe.
Later I applied a few washes with Winter Streaking Grime by AK Interactive.
Now I have to revise the washes and notice churretones in fronts with Streaking Grime also by AK Interactive, especially in meetings unions of fronts and in the windowsill of the windows of the fronts (in the houses of the side of the left side, which will go a few window boxes and they will simulate the fall of the dirty water with sand).

The sensation of the whole set is duller and throwing at earthy tones, respecting of bottom the original color that you saw initially (probably with the exception of the building of the right completely, that was rather pinked and it has changed direction to a more earthy tone).

After these revisions that I have to give I will put the new decals and will do effects of chipped in fronts and break of some cartels to give realism and tension...

See you.

Yago.

Meanwhile, during the celebration of the tenth campus of the AMV, I worked on several little things plastic diorama. But I came across this kit brand Tristan gave me Manel (Deuman) ...

pecifically is the kit on the left (discontinued and replaced by the right with a change in the transport trailer.)
The kit brings a few pieces, and at first sight is easy to assemble. But Lace has some defects, which slows the pace a little assembly and the location of some parts. But it is a kit that can be drawn on with a bit more patience.

The mount I made is about the transport trailer to hook it into one of the Opel Blitz will be in place across the square.

The rectangular pots are in two colors (gray and ocher), thus there will be variety of colors. They only need a slight washing to give depth to the exterior designs.

Hope you like it.

See you!

Hello Yago, The flak and truck are looking good(y) Did you cast all the flower pots?

Great update! Looking foward to more. Randy

Thanks Randy...
I did not cast all the flower pots, hehehehe!
There are many windows in the diorama, and I would like to put decorative elements in the facades.
With pots, I will try to give colour touchs in the diorama...

Thanks for looking...

See you!

Yago.

Thanks Erik. Patience patience...

Hi all...

As I finished setting up the booths of the three trucks I have been designing the decals to put on their plates and some more of the diorama...

calcas-lwhg.jpg

Leads me for photos of real cars and other antique and restored vehicles, I added a little detail to registrations (on the basis of which come in kits). I added the shield with the eagle of the Reich in all plates.

Both for trucks and for the / the Kubelwagen to be. For every vehicle I've designed three copies, that way I will run no risk if you do not have any problems during subsequent handling or placement / characterization.

Also, I made several copies of the signals and these plates Achtung!, Which I will be worth for further studies.

Hope you like it.

Yago.

The seats and backs I have left them without sticking to work separately and attach them after they are painted. Spare wheels and their supports have not been attached to paint better and later put in place.
Booths is to put the doors (one open), spotlights, tools, gauges and some wiring detail and follow-up outbreaks of copper wire. As for Einheitskoffer, until I reached the improvement set inside the box, I can not go further...
It seems that the episode of painting is getting closer...

Hope you like it.

See you soon with more photos...

Thanks for looking and posting.

Yago.

Excellent !!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jago was that throughout the army ( heer )& SS that the License plates were red stamped ?

Hi guys!

Here I posting the new decal sheet with the license plates...

WL-PLATES.jpg

I have added a circular red stamp in every license plate. I believe that it is more credible than the previous design.

Hope you like it.

See you soon with more pics...
