Sicily 1943 (spring)

Thanks Randy. Today I will review the path of trucks and small changes we conducted with the pigments. The next step will be building again. I would like to make completion of all facades to work fully in the interiors of buildings.

See you soon with more progress in the diorama.

Yago.

Hi guys!

After making some modifications in the decal sheet, I will set this week starting to put on their sites within the diorama.
But first I show the final decal sheet with which I will work this week. Hope you like ...

Yago,
Great job. the scene looks excellent. I can't wait to see the final
product...
Those decals are going to look great. Poster and signs will make
the dio just out at you.
Thanks for posting it.

Shawn, thank you so much.
I have to say one thing.
This pic is not usable. Becouse JPG file has 300pp of resolution. Really, the original decal sheet has 1000pp of resolution and is a PSD file.
If you (every body) want the decals, send a PM and send it to you.
Guys, thanks for looking this work.

See you!

Yago.

After two week without posting anything new from the diorama, here are a small step I've done the past weekend.
With the help of my friend Victor, went over the pavement, giving an light morning gray initial plus a little tone light blue (do photos for you can appreciate it better). And then I started to put the decals on the facades of buildings. Previously I gave a coat of gloss varnish (by Tamiya) with a few drops of thinner the same brand.
And this is what I have so far failing to complete the building of the library and a small detail...

I took several sheets of decals, which me was good for to fill in and support any business, and to replace any decal that has been damaged during its implementation or handling.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking.

Here you have some pictures you forgot to put the other day...

And I do not want to forget me, here are the last sheet that I get out of decals for the diorama (or at least I think so, hehehehe).

I placed the decals in the library, and only missing in that building two more than are placed on a plate flown. Finish putting two more in the liquor warehouse building and some more propaganda posters. Friday I think I'll finish ...

In this board you will see that there are some new images of the Duce. Iran in the interiors of homes as a decoration. But to see made will have to wait a bit (hopefully not much).

And as I always say, "I hope you like it" guys!

See you soon.

Yago.

Very well done Yago... ;)
Only a thing: the new image of Mussolini were actually a photograph used in public building and were never used as propaganda poster to be placed outside.

Cheers
Massimo

Well, after a sleepless night, I managed to finish placing the decals of the library building and two more in the tank to drink. As I said, I have to repeat some of the latter, since the board took on transparent paper that has been an experience not recommended...
At the moment I leave here the latest photos I've done. Next week will initiate the wear and leave it ready to put up the decals/poster with a more new and those effects that you were commenting to leave raised corners, cut or broken pieces, etc etc.

Yago,
So I take it that you are printing them on White Decal paper?
Or would it be ok to print them on Matt Photo Paper (which
would give it a more Poster like look)?
I think it looks great whatever method you are using.
Shawn

Shawn, I'm using decal paper for this step. It good material and its final result is awesome...
This week, I'll try to start the weathering process.

Thanks for all. Thanks fo looking and posting here guys.

See you.

Yago.

Beautiful work Yago, just beautiful. The decals really make the place come alive. Look forward to seeing the weathering process...
Brad

Beautiful work, Yago.

It's refreshing to see a diorama with intact building. Can't wait to see the finished progject.

James

Here you have made some progress the past week... But few can appreciate.
I have to say you need to retouch and make new effects characterization ...
