So got this kit because it is so wierd.

Got the new updated Nuts and Bolts book to research it. Great book. Saw a picture of one with a T-26 turret and one with a Pz 1 turret. You just know I have to do that. So here it is after around 1/2 hour or so.

And an idea of how it will look.

This should be fun.

That is weird James, but very cool. Was this an actual production vehicle? Do you know how many were made?

Looking forward to what you do with this.

Tom

I'm not sure Tom. Seems to be a bit convoluted history to it. But if I read right 129 made it into service. How many with a turret I dont know.

Oops my bad. Fixed it.

Truly is weird enough, how about a photo with something in the picture to show the scale of it? Looks really small. (y) B)

The turret ones, three made, were one offs. There is one with a T-26 turret which you can take from the new Hobby Boss T-26 (twin turret) kit, another has a T-37 or T-38 turret (similar to the T-28), and the last the PzKpfw I turret.

Regards,

Thanks Saul. I have to sit and read through the book carefully. Still trying to find who owned the one I'm building.
Mike I'll do that tomorrow. Kind of tired now. I tought I was in the shop for a our, maybe less, but it looks like 2 hours to get here.

Oh and yes it is a very diminutive vehicle. Smaller that a SdKfz 221.

Before I left for work I sprayed the German Grey on lightened with a lighter dark grey.

I sprayed in the center of the panels etc then misted on a light coat to meld it all. Viola hi-lites and shadows. Doesnt look too bad in person. Tracks are next and markings. Have to reglue a turn signal I knocked off. Then some weathering. Then to find barrels.
