Ditto! This is why it takes me 2 kits sometimes to get one build out.How often have i finished a build and said, if i did that again i could do a better job ?
Being forewarned, I would pull out my references, drawings and do a bunch of measuring. On the Trumpter Stuka they had the engine set way back from where it was supposed to be. Engine exhaust ports were the clue on that. Part of the reason was that the engine went right up under the upper nose cowling rather tight and I had to do similar surgery in the hidden areas up front. I was not going to display that engine, but enough could be seen that it needed to be somewhat in the right place. not proud of it but i suppose its the finished item that matters. I'm sure Paul or someone of his level could do a better job and find a work around. All things are feasible
