Hope everyone is having a good Memorial Day today. Take a moment to reflect and give thanks to those who made the sacrifices at home and abroad.

Dad just sent me a video that needs to be shared.

These aren't the best shots unfortunately as I just took pics of his Navy books-- but this was my Dad who served two tours in Vietnam as a Seabee with the Mobile Construction Battalion 62...

I'd just like to thank those that have given the last full measure of devotion to their country. We all remember the men that fought and died at places such as Gettysburg, Normandy, Pearl Harbor, Bastogne, and Bunker Hill. But let us not forget those that died in tragic accidents during training. Men such as Lt Max Clark, Lt Alan Koehler, LCDR Philip DuHamel, and Ensign Randall Tunstill. These were all military aviators that died in all too common training accidents.

The crashsite of Ensign Tunstill's Hellcat. There is no monument dedicated to him as of yet. But I am pushing the Forest Service to erect one.
