Ma.K Grosser Hund

The Grosser Hund is back on the front burner and will be completed by the deadline this time! (Didn’t I say that the last time too?...)

So far it’s OOB with only a few improvements:

The guard under the chin broke (of course) and was replaced with a piece of thick wire.

I added lenses to the upper sensors from clear sprue.

The exhausts were given some 3D effect by adding some tubing.

Never had so many sub-assies to be painted before assembly! So far the build is mainly sanding practice and an exercise in organizing skill. LOL

Thanks Ed!

It's prime time! As in: Mr. Surfacer 1200. Think I'll finish priming today than add the base color next week.

Thanks guys for the comments!

I painted the engine, shoulder mount and missile heads as these had to be in place an masked before laying down the base coat.

MP, Ed, glad you're still there!

This will be my source of inspiration (and technique) for the weathering. Mecha by Mig Jimenez!

Thanks guys! Glad you didn't give up following! :drinks

After a coat of primer and pre-shading:

Mr. Surfacer 1200 and Gunze Olive Drab for the shading.

Laying down the base coat is in progress.
