What lunatic leaves PE fret in the box the kit came in?I can just figure out where I put that fret of PE?
Aberrant model behavior to be sure. You're supposed to drop it on the floor and run over it with your desk chair wheels. What lunatic leaves PE fret in the box the kit came in?![]()
They're the 50 round drums for the M1928A1 Thompson. Unfortunately, the kit looks like it supplies a M1 series Thompson. The muzzle brake is bigger on the M1928A1. The troops didn't like the drum. It was heavy, it rattled, was difficult to load (it had to be cranked to tighten the feed mechanism after inserting the rounds), and the gun had to be cocked and in the firing postion to install the drum. The British returned most of the drums supplied with the M1928A1 and requested the 20 round box magazines as replacement. The M1 wasn't designed to accept the drums. The box to the rear of the door? I think those are the round Thompson mg mags and in the box are more 37mm rounds. I closed off all ready racks this time.
