Wingnut Wings Sopwith Triplane

I'm callin' her done!

Yeah I could do more, mud on the under carriage. Some more filters over the fabric. James or someone said early on that the PC12 faded more brown. One one of the spare parts I played with dry brushing brown between the ribs, think I'll do that on the Camel when I do that.

I found another structural line missing, added it quickly. Touched up the other wires with gun metal...it's still steel right?!

Some other notes to myself...Go ahead and paint up all the parts, weathered and all before assembly. Get a good replacement motor. Don't buy that HK stuff, found it useless. Drill out cable attachment points before anything, use .5mm pipe for the control lines, .7mm for the flying wires.
Also it looks like the Media section of the website does not have the same size limitations as the forum attachments. It's a bit more clumsy posting between the Media and the forum but not much I can do about that.

Really did enjoy this build, WnW quality through and through. I really should spend more time on the paint and weathering before getting it too far down the bench.
Oh, I really need to get some better lighting for photos.

Thanks for all who watched and contributed! Without y'all it'll still be sitting in the box.
