I am looking to pair these two with the Masterpiece Models Japanese bunker as well as some Master Box figures...

David Harper's tracks are back in production and only $38.99 this time around:

Those are nice, neat project Mike! I remember someone had those tracks in PE, you had to bend the W shaped parts, color me :gogo on that one.

That is Voyager Model:

These are designed for the AFV Club kit and may not fit the Italeri designed sprockets inthe Cyber-Hobby kit. I don't see the reason to buy this insane set when AFV Club is about to release a polystyrene set:

If they supplied you with a former or jig to smash the part into to make sure you get the correct shame each and every time, I could see attempting these just from a construction challenge aspect. Short of that, no thanks!

Those resin tracks look cool...but ouch on the cost! I wonder how durable they are??

How much do the AFV Club track sets usually cost?? And when you say soon-- just wondering how that equates to the geologic time scale? :rotf

No idea on the price but they are expected to arrive in the US next month. As for fitting the Italeri designed sprockets... not sure.

The price on the printed parts went down considerably. They were sold as completed runs for almost $90USD. At the price you see, you get pre-assembled runs of eight.

It doesn't say-- but do you get enough for the entire tracks on both sides- or do you need to order two? They look kind of neat and might be interesting to try out...

I am with Dave and Bob on the PE ones though...I think I'll just skip the step and get into the corner with the straight jacket and coloring book...

Hey the sunny corner is mine and the purple crayon also - how else am I going to color in my Barney pictures :D

It should be an entire run. I just wrote to them to ask for a few links to try out on the AFV Club kit sprockets. If they fit, you can then wait for the AFV Club set. If they don't, it is either the resin ones, the PE ones, or the metal set from Friul. Dave Harper had posted a comparison of his set versus the Friul and the resin set was much better.

I did notice that it seems the drive sprocket is no longer included.

Thanks Saúl and James...

Well, with the idea of avoiding getting stalled on this build, I just glued the kit tracks together and used them...they fit pretty well and considering this LVT is going to be in sand and such, I figured they'll do. They did fit pretty well so I'm happy!

In researching some USMC 105's, I came across info on how the USMC and ETO guns differed...it seems the main visual difference was the gun shield...but as you can see in the original pic, the shield was removed...so disaster averted!

My question now...Saúl also gave me the AFV Club ammo set when he gave me the kit...there look to be a few different types of crates...there are two types fully enclosed, plus a slatted type, and then single and triple tubed cases. Should I assume that in the Pacific sands, ammo would be stored and transported in fully enclosed cases? And if so, I'm trying to figure out what is different with the two types...other than one types having three PE straps wrapped around them...

Well- here is the gun after it's first coat...still more to add paintwise...hoping this all fits into the back of the LVT ;)

Well...found a pretty good article on both the ammo and crates...for those of you building 105s or Priests...
