Latest trip....

sharkman

Master at Arms
Just out on the high seas tagging juvenile mako sharks for work last week!

We saw about 2-300 blue sharks, but only ended up catching about 5-6 makos and tagged 4 of them. These are sleek little fish!

Where was this?

About 180 miles off Nova Scotia in the Atlantic, just on the edge of the Gulf Stream in about 75-80 degree water MP.

Nature is a amazing ain't it, that far north and the water that warm. Great stuff Warran, thanks for sharing! :good:

It is!

We're not that far north though, roughly equal to Maine! hahaha

It's very cool what the Gulf Stream does bring up though, and amazing how defined the edge of that water is, like a washing machine where the cold and warm currents meet!
