Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Unless you meant the 6 wheeler from Italeri.

that's the kit i was talking about ... the missing side ventilation openings - this time i will recreate them!

As for me, I may ask you to look up some decals...if the shop carries TL Decals, can you look them over and see the quality?

i'll ask them and hopefully won't receive the answer "what is TL decals" - if they carry them and have a nice set i'll get you some! :) :mpup

Yesterday I got my self 32 papernailfiles for the price of 1 EURO at a German TEDI shop.
For that kind of money I couldn't resist them...NO I don't use them for manicure. :D

no problem saúl, really no problem! :mpup

anyway ... i gave the LHS a short visit yesterday, asking if my voyager pe for the 232 would have arrived (of course not!), get me some styrene sheet for the largest fix needed on the 232 and also took the chance and asked if they could order tasca kits for me - all i got as an answer was "what is tasca?" ... so much for the pig tank idea! and now for something completely different - when i turned around in my first shock after having heard the "what is tasca?" reply, my eyes catched this beauty in the shelf and i really had to buy that kit:

so far this is the most complex and most beautiful kit i ever purchased! WOW!

saúl - i haven't forgotten you but i need more time than i had yesterday to find you something beautiful! next time i will spend more time than 5 minutes at the LHS!

I had no idea that kit was out. Looks cool. Will have to find now :D

James, I see on PMMS that this is coming out with limbers too!! If that interests you...

Yesterday I wnt to a friends house to trade a few of the planes I didn't want and get a couple I did. He surprised me with about 15 kits from his stash he didn't want so I got those added to my collection. I have new builds and added trade kits.

My wife saw these and commented that I would not need to buy any kits for a while, what is she, nuts?

Looks like a pretty nice haul there Paul. See what you do now is find a huge old model box like from a 1/72 B-36 and then just put new purchases in there lol.

Funny, I do that! I have both AFV Club 3 kits in one box releases. The halftracks went into a stowage bin but the boxes store new purchases!

OK, I have received packages but not posted here.

From Hong Kong (my favorite eBay shop is Yorkie Hobbies):

I never bought the kit before even though I posted a 75 image walk around of the subject!

Yep, I am on a soft-skin binge!

Two more items came and I will post separately.

Nerdling,

What site was it where the guy bragged about switching kits and the wifey would never find out... then she logged on and let him know the jig was up?

Women are sneaky... they know things... They are evil...

send all excess kits to me.... I will keep them safe!!!!!

The communications truck is 100% bare inside. Since the box was common to several trucks, I will look into the interior sets designed for the IBG truck (which I never bought after seeing the sprues).

Regards,

Like the Radio truck. Too bad I didnt see it when I went looking for the Flak 41 Laura just got. I too really like Yorkie Hobbies and thats where my Flak 41 is coming from, along with some Eastern civilians.

What kind of selection, and how are the prices from Yorkie Hobbies?

Click here to visit. Great prices, affordable shipping, nice selection. However, not much in 48th scale since I know you get a lot of kits in that scale. Still worth a look.
