Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Hi Harv. I pawed through it when I got home from work last night and initial thoughts are WOW. Will sit down and look more carefully and let you know later on this weekend or week.

Nice stuff Mike and James. Good projects coming up.

Mats, the Budweiser Clydesdale beer wagon is 1/20th scale. Yes, it's bigger than I normally make, but I've always wanted one and now I have it.

So I went to the "Iron Mike Hobby Shop" yesterday afternoon and came home w/ some nice plastic, hahaha

An explanation before anyone thinks that the German postal service acted like the American Tourister gorillas:

The Trumpeter box looks that way because I used it, folded inside out, as the shipping container to keep it under the size limit imposed by the US Postal Service.

Since Laura hasn't informed me otherwise, I take it that all arrived without damage.

no problem saúl, really no problem! :mpup

anyway ... i gave the LHS a short visit yesterday, asking if my voyager pe for the 232 would have arrived (of course not!), get me some styrene sheet for the largest fix needed on the 232 and also took the chance and asked if they could order tasca kits for me - all i got as an answer was "what is tasca?" ... so much for the pig tank idea! and now for something completely different - when i turned around in my first shock after having heard the "what is tasca?" reply, my eyes catched this beauty in the shelf and i really had to buy that kit:

so far this is the most complex and most beautiful kit i ever purchased! WOW!

saúl - i haven't forgotten you but i need more time than i had yesterday to find you something beautiful! next time i will spend more time than 5 minutes at the LHS!

Wow, nice Laura, so you're in for the Great 88 now?

sure! with the afv club FlaK18 ... this one is that complex that i need a lot of time for it! literally every bolt has to be glued in place! shit yeah! :mpup

Laura, glad to read you can fix it but I wonder if it is worth trying to save people on postage if the kits get damaged. Yours may have been slight but did anyone else get a kit with damage?
:idonno

What fix is needed for the 232? I have it, the AFV Club eight wheeler, and don't see any issues. Unless you meant the 6 wheeler from Italeri. As for me, I may ask you to look up some decals... if the shop carries TL Decals, can you look them over and see the quality?
