Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Paid 10 bucks for it!!

ADAM - Great score on that Old Fire Bird !! Yeah Baby !

Thanks. The Blackhawks are 1/35, so they make for a large build! I've built 1 Pavehawk already, which made for an interesting project.

The Super Stallion is a super detail build, I've opened all of the external panels, and I'm building all the avionics compartments. I'm also going to build 2 of the engines. I havent touched it in 3 years. Its still packed up from my last move.

Nice bought...

I liked your miscellaneous of kits.
And I have 2 of them the CH-53E Super Stallion (won from a friend, begun) and UH-60L Black Hawk, both on 1/48, ancious to saw the buildings!!! :yipee

I've only quickly browsed through the box, but it looks pretty nice. The box is stuffed completely full. The instruction manual is 28 pages!

Yep, it was definitely my fault. You know how passionate I am about Army stuff ! :soldier :soldier :soldier .
Hmm , don't see Mike yet . Maybe he's the one having a hard time getting the stuff in the house HAHAHA !

Good shopping trip . Wish you'd been along Bob . B)

holy Moly! 28 pages? The kid I used to teach could not read a 28 page book! But then they were only sophomores!

Can't believe Mike didn't mention it to you. Have to admit though that shop is getting pretty bare but there's some good deals to be had on what can be found.

Yep,it's even further than Augusta . Use to enjoy going shopping up that way . Been a long time now though.

Cheers, Christian B)

Road trip!!! haha

The LHS is definitely beginning to get bare, but still some deals. Unfortunately, I think this coming Thursday will probably be my last trip there to buy anything before its closed completely. I've spent way too much money there over the last several weeks, and I think my wife is going to start getting a little upset if I spend much more. I've already got 1 kit held back for me, and I'm probably going to get a lot of paint, especially w/ them working out to less than a dollar a bottle.

Road Trip too far!!!!

WHIMPS! :silly:

of course it is winter and y'all do not drive well in snow... :eek:hmy:

My LHS is selling off their Gunze stock... $1 a bottle... and replacing it with Vallejo! Loading up tomorrow! :soldier

The Saturday Afternoon Raid was a spur of the moment affair and since the intel was sketchy, I didn't think you'd drive up to Gastonia for a 3 hour tour, Bob. Adam sent me a PM that said everything was 75% off for club members and since I was working the early shift, there was JUST enough time to sneak over before they closed. I managed to fill in the gaps in my Humbrol and Model Color stock, plus a few extra goodies.
