Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

holy crap! According to the box it's 1111.6 mm long and 210 across! Thats 43.6 X 8.26 inches. How tall will it be?

Not sure. maybe about 18-20 inches or so. It's definitely gonna be a big one!

Holy Cow Mark! When do we start? :mpup

This one may slow ya down a bit.. :rotf

Well, I'm probably gonna start when I get my nerve up....er, after I finish my 6-foot-long armored train I'm working on. I figure a couple more months or so.

And yeah, this one will slow me down a bit.... about as much as my 6-foot-long armored train has done. I've been working on that for a year now.

Paddy, that looks awesome in there! I'm thinking I'm going to have to go that same route; placing mine in a shop's window since I have no place to display this at home!

Chuck that is an Awesome model! I built one of those in 1/72 scale too; it is big even in that scale.

This was just dropped off by the postman... from the Philippines:

I wonder why I ordered it?

Regards,

I wish I'd had that decal sheet when I was building my two OV-10's myself! I wonder if I can add one to my YOV-10......

These are in 1/48th scale. However, the Mustang sheet is 1/72nd scale.

Well, there is one scheme without a sharkmouth which surely means I won't use it... PM me your postal address and it is yours.

aquarium.jpg

the aquarium was a longer planned buy for my revell blücher, nothing special yet ... but at the LHS i somehow went mad:

revelltirpitznstuff.jpg

revell's tirpitz (one can never have enough tirpitz model kits!), a set of trumpeter universal chains, tamiya glue, tamiya extra thin glue, sprayable glue, concord's german artillery at war vol. 1 and a second bottle of navy grey ... *sigh*

a question to those experienced with tamiya glue (never had that glue!) - what's the deal with the orange cap tamiya glue?
