Wait, you meant the bird? Oh, that is a QF-4N which is a 1:1 scale RC drone. Luckily, this one is preserved. Best thing is that I don't need pilots! Be wary if you buy PrintScale decals as they 'assign' pilots and RFO to this aircraft, as well as a squadron. These belong to its previous life.

So, what looked like huge shiny Piranha eyes is actually the tail fin squadron badge!

This photo is what interested me, a drone firing an MA-31 missile... so what? SO WHAT? That is the American copy of the KH-31 soviet missile! That's what!

Well, now we have four brands (five but one is a rebox) and I am sure this is the easiest to build but perhaps not the most detailed. Who knows about accuracy? I had the Dragon kit (reboxed Alan model which was horrible), the Bronco kit came out and I waited for the AFV Club since since it was more accurate.

Perhaps a look-see in the box?

That's a nice looking resin/PE set there Saul!

Well my tale goes back before Christmas when I found what looked to be a really nice statue kit of the Wonder Woman Movie character. Turned out as I found out "after" getting the figure that it was a POOR rip off repop of the Kotobukiya Movie Wonder Woman Artfx Statue. I wouldn't mind having a DECENT resin copy, but unfortunately the one I got is GARBAGE! Only the base was what I would consider quality casting and the rest is just junk. I could do better by far and I am a bit of an amateur still.

I might still try and get the Kotobukiya fig as it is just dead right on with the sculpt. I had looked forward to trying to do a better paint job on one, but now just think I will not bother. So far I am out the price of a decent tank kit so not a real big deal. (still aggravating though)

Going to end up as bin filler.


On a positive note, Old Dog decided to sell me these 2 kits. Thanks Gary! Much appreciated.

I got some books and extras for the scud and bmp3 I am working on and have a few more kits coming. Most are for the recce shelf. I did preorder 2 Junkers D.I's and hope to kick-start my WWI building again when they arrive. I also have a book coming on the D.I thanks to Saul's sleuthing skills.
